The Sea trout fishing season started 10 days ago and is beginning quite well in most rivers. The weather has been quite cold which has made the fishing conditions difficult.
The forecast for the weekend is down to -10°C with a fresh wind from the Atlantic ocean, which makes fly fishing very "enjoyable". Lines freeze and get stuck in the guides of your fly rod, and if you are lucky the river or the lake will not be covered with ice. Then there is the matter of your hands... Your hands get really cold in this kind of weather, wet hands in minus 10°C are not very comfortable.
But we are off fishing this weekend and can't wait to get out there.
