Good start of the salmon fishing in Iceland 2015

2015 Salmon fishing season has started well in Iceland.

Not many rivers have opened yet, but in the next two weeks all of the salmon rivers will have opened.

The fishing on Nordurá river is quite good and the anglers are fighting high waterlevel, but still catching good numbers.

Blandá river is still good and last weekend was really good, one lucky angler caught 6 good size 2SW salmon in only half a day.

Kjarrá river opened on June 15th and had a great opening day. 11 Salmon were caught on the first day which is fantastic.

Laugardalsá river opened too on the 15th with 3 salmon on the first day which is really good for the river.

Thverá river

Thverá river opened on June 12th and after the first 3 days they had already landed 15 salmon
