Iceland, midhighland fishing 2017

Iceland is 103,000 square km and a vast part of it are the unpopulated central highlands. There is an endless number of trout and char lakes in several places in the highlands with beautiful streams in between.

It really is the most amazing place to fish and although there is no luxury there we do stay in heated cabins. We then spend the day walking between lakes and fishing the rivers in-between and therefore work pretty hard for the catch.

These anglers had a good fishing trip catching 23 fish during the couple of days up in the mid highlands.
