Laxá in Dölum is a heaven for anglers who like to fish with a single handed rod, riffling hitch and small flies.
It is one of the better and most productive rivers in Iceland. Laxá in Dölum is fished with only 4-6 rods and the average catch is about 1220 salmon pr. season.
We have rods available on prime weeks in July and August, this summer 2015 gave 1550 salmon.

The river is a classic Icelandic salmon river, with a good 8 bedroomed full service lodge. The option of having the extra rooms has made this particular river popular for large families and friends, providing them with the opportunity of having the river to themselves.
