Skjálfandafljót River

Skjálfandafljót river is the first salmon river I fell in love with. Skjálfandafljót river is big and strong, rustic and the powerful nature makes this river one of a kind.
There is a very good average catch, appr. 600 salmon on only 6 rods.

Skjalfandafljot river is one of the longest rivers in Iceland and runs from Vatnajökull glacier and all the way to the sea in North Iceland.

Skjálfandafljót is famous for its big waterfalls Godafoss, Barnafoss and Aldeyjarfoss waterfalls.

Best of all is.. you can get VERY good salmon fishing for a really reasonable price.
