The salmon has arrived!
An angler fishing in Seleyri in Borganes few days ago saw at least 20-30 salmons passing by while he was fishing. Tempted, he casted towards them, but unfortunately with no luck. It is tough to say where the salmon headed exactly, the salmon was seen going up the glacier river Hvita, but many of the famous salmon rivers in Iceland run into the Hvita river, such as Straumar, Brennan, Thvera, Kjarra and Grimsa, so we assume we will shortly hear news about salmon arriving to those rivers.
It is great to hear the salmon has arrived, the salmon season is starting in 15 days so this is promising.
