Langá river

Langá, 12 rod salmon river with a nice full service lodge

Is Langá the right river for you?

Langá is one of our top salmon river in Iceland. Water is crystal clear and we fish it with floating line, single handed rods and small flies. Langá is a long river but the name LANG-Á, means LONG-RIVER. The salmon is well spread over the river and fish is being caught in about 100 pools.

Langá is located in West Iceland, near Borgarnes town, about 1 hour drive from Reykjavik.

There is a very easy access to almost all pools, which makes it suitable for most anglers.

Prime time is July

We have rods available:

  • July 3 - 6 (afternoon - noon) and
  • July 6 - 9 (afternoon - noon)

Tight lines Iceland Outfitters
