Salmon fishing in Iceland, great value of money.

Fnjóská river is located in North Iceland, a few minutes drive from Akureyri. Fnjóská is an 8 rod river, but we will have a group of 6 anglers fishing on Fnjóská. Your host will be Stefán Sigurdsson. He knows the river inside and out, since he was raised on the river banks and has fished there for many years. Fnjóská is one of his most favourite rivers in Iceland.

Accommodation is an old, but nice farmhouse by the river. You can come on your own or with friends, but the number of rods is limited to 6.

Fnjóská is a salmon river with a good chance of catching big salmon.

Date: August 11th to 14th (afternoon - noon) Location: North Iceland, a few minutes drive from Akureyri. How to get there: Either drive from Reykjavik which takes approx. 4 hours or fly to Akureyri and pick up a rental car there. Accommodation: Self catering lodge by the river.
