Lower East Rangá is doing well this year

Lower East Rangá is the bottom part of East Rangá river, the junction of East and West Rangá river and the river towards the sea.

We mostly fish the lowest part of East Rangá which is where the very nice lodge is located.

Fishing has been very good this year and the salmon is strong and rather big. The best time for fishing Lower East Rangá is from mid July and most of the salmon have been caught since then. So 460 salmon for 6 rods is really good. It is about 77 salmon per rod and we are still only halfway through the season.
