The fishing season in Iceland started in a different way this year.
May and June were dry months with almost no rain. So therefore our salmon season opened with very little water in our rivers. A situation that has not happened before as long as people can remember.
Finally the rain is here and the water is rising. The rivers are starting to look good and and freshly run salmon is coming in.
Good news for those who are on the way!
