The Fishing

The Fljota river is a small self-catering river in the North of Iceland, with a good run of Salmon and Arctic char which make this river very special. The river is around 8 km and is divided into 4 different beats and is only fished with 4 rods.

The Accommodation

The lodge is self-catering and cosy. This is a perfect place for families and smaller groups who like to cook them self and enjoy each other company.

For salmon, Hitch tubes, Frances red and black, and tipical salmon flies in sizes 12-14 and small tubes, for Arctic char nymphs, dry flies and pink streemers
