The Fishing

Krossa river is a small 2 rod salmon river located in West Iceland. The surroundings around the river are truly spectacular, with an outstanding view over Breidafjordur. The river is quite small and requires a gentle approach when fishing. Krossa river runs through Villingardalur valley and is 12.4 km long with 40 marked pools that vary from fast and shallow to slow and deep. The average catch the last 5 years are 245 salmon per year.

The Accommodation

The Krossa lodge is a newly renovated self catering cottage. The cottage consists of two bedrooms that sleep 5 anglers. There are extra mattresses if needed.
