Spring fishing in Iceland is an unforgettable experience and something every angler should try. The trout season opens on April 1st for sea-run trout, resident brown trout, and Arctic char. Iceland is a fisherman’s paradise and spring offers a special chance to experience the rivers and lakes coming back to life. With each passing day, as the light lasts longer and temperatures rise, trout and char shake off their winter dormancy and become more active.
