Experience the thrill of catching salmon in the rivers of Holsa West Bank, Iceland

Hólsá Borg – 4 rods

Ever thought about fishing in Iceland?   Here is a suggestion that might suit you and your friends or your family.

Hólsá Borg is the river below East- and West Rangá rivers.  So all the salmon that enters those two rivers, first swimms through Hólsá.

Hólsá Borg season is from July 8 to end of August and it comes with a 4 twin bedroom self catering cottage.  With room for 8 guests.

We recommend you rent cars for your group and take one guide from us to show you where and how to fish the river.

Hólsá Borg is sold in 2, 4, 6 days parties.  2 days is: half day –  full day – half day.  You arrive the lodge on the day you start fishing at 14:00 and leave the lodge at 13:00 on the day you stop fishing.

Hólsá Borg often has huge runs of salmon prime time.  It is best fished with a double handed rod, floating line and sink tip.
