West Rangá

Over 1.800 salmon caught already!

The fishing on West Rangá is doing very well lately.  In all rivers (apart from Urridafoss waterfall), the fishing started late in Iceland but for the last few weeks 30 to 50 salmon have been caught per day on West Rangá and in total over 1.800 salmon have been caught. 

Season does not end until October so we think it is fair to expect that West Rangá will end number one of all salmon rivers in Iceland, in number of salmon caught 2021.
