Reykjavik – Skógafoss waterfall – Reykjavik

In Reykjavík, your private Superjeep will pick you up for a small-group adventure in Iceland. The intimate setting allows you to explore the island’s beauty with friends. Larger vehicles can be arranged if needed.

Our first stop is Gígjökull glacier in Þórsmörk valley, named after the Norse god of thunder, Thor. Next, we’ll visit Seljalandsfoss, a famous waterfall with a natural cave formed behind the cascading water. During the summer, you can walk behind the curtain for a unique view.

Continuing on, we’ll visit Vík village on the South Coast. Along the way, we’ll stop at the scenic Reynisfjara black sand beach. Be cautious of the strong tide that can carry you out into the Atlantic. Witness the thunderous waves crashing against the spooky Reynisdrangar sea stacks.

The Dyrhólaey Promontory is a nesting site for the North Atlantic puffin during the summer. You’ll see large numbers of these cute birds. Since this is a private tour, additional stops can be made en route, depending on time and weather conditions.

Our final scheduled stop is Skógafoss waterfall, a giant cascade over 25 meters wide with falls dropping 60 meters. It lies between Mýrdalsjökull and Eyjafjallajökull glaciers.

After a day of natural beauty and adventure, we’ll return to Reykjavík. The memories and photos from this tour will last a lifetime.
