West Ranga Brown Trout
Upper part of West Ranga is known for super big Brownies. Trout Beat is about 30km + double banks with mix of flat pools, pockets and fast water pools. This is one of the few places in Iceland where you can catch 10 pounder Brown trout. In the Autumn is a big change to catch Salmon as well

12 hours a day, 6 hours in the morning and 6 in the afternoon / evening. -
Recommended flies:
Sea-trout: All kind of streamers with pink, black, yellow ,orange colors. Salmon: Red and black frances, sunray shadow and all small flies. -
Recommended tackles:
Single hand rod, 9-10 foot, floating line 5-7 weight.
