West Ranga Seatrout, April and May
West Ranga spring fishing is known for super big Seatrout and Brownies and is the same water as salmon beat in summertime. The beat is around 20km long, both banks and is only fished with 4 rods pr day. this is Catch and release only. Some of the pools are perfect for Double hand rods and some for single handed rods.

Fishing time:
12 hours a day, 6 hours in the morning and 6 in the afternoon / evening. -
Recommended flies:
Sea-trout: All kind of streamers with pink, black, yellow ,orange colors. Salmon: Red and black frances, sunray shadow and all small flies. -
Recommended tackles:
Single hand rod, 9-10 foot, floating line 5-7 weight. Double handed 13 foot line 7-9
